lol, so let's just say my excuse is that Klide's group shutting down phased me, so I'm allowed to make two new characters. XD
Anyhow, this may seem unlike me, but I saw that this group (pokemon-despair) had an opening, and as I like Pokémon anthros and murder mystery, why not try my luck in entering? So, introducing Hunter Jackson, yet another male to add to my collection! XD lol, but in all seriousness, I've grown a bit of an interest for this guy, and I think it'd be soooooo cool to make it into this group, so any votes by the group members would be really appreciated by me! Summary Characteristic: Highly persistent.

Personality: Though the tattoos all over his arms may make you think otherwise, Hunter is really a calm, semi-serious person who always tries his best to comfort others. He almost always tries to be optimistic by at least seeing some bright side in bad situations, no matter how hard it may be for him to do so. When comforting others, he tries to use his words in a gentle way, as he's learned how to speak like a skilled therapist from studying mental health. Of course, he can use his way with words to his advantage sometimes to get what he wants, but he normally tries to stay away from looking like that kind of person. Generally, Hunter tries to be open about himself and his past experiences so others might also be open to him, but this Servine also has secrets that he wouldn't want others to know...

History:

(NOTE: Some parts of this history are not true!!! This is the history that he will share with others if asked, but truths will be unlocked through RPing.)

    Hunter was brought up in a middle-class family, his parents not letting him have much freedom to do what he wanted as they didn't want him to become part of the "wrong crowd". Since Hunter began high school, he finally felt that he was old enough to start doing more of what he wanted than what his parents wanted for him, so he rebelled against them in secret. A year into high school, Hunter began by getting a bad gambling habit, telling his parents he was staying after school to do work when he was really going to visit a casino he really liked across town.
     As it was normally open in the morning as well as during the night, and Hunter looked like he was eighteen at the time, he was able to get past the guard and gamble with any goons who were hanging out in the casino. He started by experimenting with a few dollars at a time, but as months passed he started gambling more and more, rarely ever winning. He continued gambling like this in hopes that he'd get the money he'd already gambled away back, but of course, he never did. Soon enough, Hunter didn't have any more pocket money to gamble with, so he began to ask others for money, only leading to him telling even more lies.
     When his parents finally realized what he was really doing after school about a year later, they were horrified, but didn't hesitate to scold him and to punish him to great extents. Hunter wasn't allowed to have any more pocket money, his parents didn't allow him to walk to and from school alone anymore, and they signed him up for gambling counseling classes after school. All of this led to Hunter getting a deep and miserable depression phase, finally realizing what he'd done and not knowing at the time how he'd be able to amend it all. Letting the guilt get to his head, Hunter wanted to punish himself a bit, getting tattoos that went all over his arms without thinking and regretting it greatly soon after. Of course, this only worried his parents even more.
     Months later, when Hunter's depression finally began to subside a bit and he got a part-time job at a fast food restaurant to replace what he'd spent at the casino, he began to research online for more help about his problem. He continuously searched online more and more for help, much preferring getting comforted by reading and not having to speak to anyone. Fascinated by how much better he was feeling after a few weeks of searching online, Hunter began to look up other therapy-related things, ultimately beginning to like the study of mental health. At school, he even found himself helping to comfort others with the tips he found online, discovering a possible hidden talent he had in therapy.
     By the time he finally felt he'd completely grown out of his gambling addiction, Hunter began to get more serious about possibly getting a career as a therapist. Nearing the end of his high school years, Hunter officially became a therapist-in-training, his passion to comfort others inspiring him to continue. Though he'll never forget about his gambling problem, he finally feels that he might be able to overcome what he's done in the past.


Other Stuff/Fun Facts:
-Has a generally gentle voice, but can also be serious-sounding.
-Shares a slightly softened version of his backstory with his "clients" if he ever felt the need to, though he's never completely honest.
-Hunter's necklace is a pair of pink dice that he's able to detach from the string, though he only wears it as a reminder of his past ways so that he'll remember not to go back.
-His tattoos aren't symbols of anything, they were the first thing that Hunter saw on the shelf the day he got it.
-His tatoos run up to his shoulders, and almost across his chest, as well.
-He doesn't like getting sweaty, so he dislikes nearly all sports. As for swimming, he doesn't like it as he's not very good at it.
-Hunter has a bad habit of staying up late at night and thinking himself to sleep.
-His watch is a gift from his father that he got when he first went to high school.
-Both of his parents are Serperiors.
